My Cocker who passed in March went deaf first, but I had trained him to hand signals (as I have done already with Mandi) and that worked for a while until he went blind. After that, I would stomp my foot on the floor and he would feel the vibrations or I would just go and tap him on the shoulder, however, he was never far from me, seemed like the less he could see, the closer he stayed to me, used his nose a lot and just followed me around the house.Nickienoreply@blogger.com
