You have to be able to go with the flow ...I agree. You have to be able to go with the flow of your dog's nature. Our first spoo was meant to be a running companion but he is just not interested. He doesn't seem to get the point of running beside someone with nothing else to do, but he will run with other dogs all day long! He is on his way to becoming a great therapy dog though! Our second spoo that we added to the family we were hoping would be the running companion and he is! He loves running for the sake of running, tail high, head high. After a six mile run he still has energy to burn in the backyard. Will he make a good therapy dog as well? Probably not.
