We have a lot of off-leash options in terms of parks and trails nearby. We live in an area that is full of condos and townhouses, so the 'dogs per square mile' is fairly high.<br /><br />Most restaurants will let you have your dog at the patio with you if you're eating outside and many will bring out water (and occasionally a treat) for the pooches.<br /><br />In my neighbourhood, there are several stores, from small locally owned businesses to larger chain stores, that let you bring the dog into the store with you. A few of them even give the dog treats.
